It was a bit hard because i was very nervous and the time was very short and all the people were looking at you that was a bit hard.

Last week was pretty fun, my group went really well I enjoyed acting and wating other people’s performences. I really liked how some gruops made it funny and others made it as if they were doing it in real life.Â

last week we had our first group performance. overall i think my group could of done a bit better just with the action movements and speaking a bit louder and clearer. i think our actuall theme could of been improved aswell. one of my favourite groups had a really good performance. they set it up really well and they didnt forget their lines, or if they did they didnt show it. next performance i think we are going to be alot better.

We all speaked very loud there was no mistakes we all remembered our lines and
it was not very good it was not funny, some charcters needed to talk louder and talk more in the play.Â

The thing that went well in our group qs that we tried to make it funny. We were laughing a bit to much so now we know for next time try to concentrate more and not laugh as much. Apart from our group I liked Rebecca’s group because it was funny and they spoke alot. I think my performance wasn’t that bad. I didn’t have to do alot of talking which was good, but I tried to use as much body language as possible.

Tuesday the 20th.
Today is one of many eventful days at drama year 9, not to mention Mr. O’Keeffe strives to make every lesson as fun as he can. today we started to learn about performing solos. Every student would agree solos are not the thing most people enjoy doing, but we did 2 anyway. In both we were given a scenario that we had to improvise into a 1 minute solo. these solos were a big success. Then Mr. O’Keeffe forced us to listen to a podcast about solo performances, it was very informative and boring at the same time. In the following lessons ,we hope to start working on our own solos and perform them.
